Sampsung Xiaoxiang Shi is a research assistant to Professor Brian Fitzgerald at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries and Innovation (CCI).

And he is also currently a PhD candidate at the faculty of law of the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). His PhD research focuses on copyright law and innovation in the networked information economy in Australia and China. His research interests cover the law of copyright, media, entertainment, and especially the social and legal implications of the Internet and ICT.

Miss Chelsea Y. Chi is a specialist in M&A and Foreign Direct Investment (“FDI”) in China. After joining one of the top law firms in Singapore, she has been significantly involved in a wide range of international projects covering industries such as metal production, real estate, power, coal mining, hotel, tourism, aviation, etc.

Miss Chelsea Y. Chi is a specialist in M&A and Foreign Direct Investment (“FDI”) in China. After joining one of the top law firms in Singapore, she has been significantly involved in a wide range of international projects covering industries such as metal production, real estate, power, coal mining, hotel, tourism, aviation, etc.

Miss Chi is familiar with drafting and amendment of various legal documents including Joint Venture Contracts, Framework Agreements, Commercial Agreements, SPAs, Articles of Association, Legal Memorandum. She is also a professional in conducting Due Diligence for different types of deals with different focuses and drafting Executive Summaries as well as DD reports. Furthermore, Miss Chi has frequently provided clients with legal advice and legal research on corporate affairs.

In 2007, Miss Chi successfully acted for one of the world’s largest integrated producers of tin metal and tin-based products in its significant investment to China, the establishment of an equity joint venture and the corporate affairs after the establishment of the EJV. In addition, she has participated in several Initial Public Offering projects of large China corporations and an essential real estate project between Singapore Government and China Government.

Miss Chi has been qualified in the New York Bar. She is able to work in both English and Chinese languages.
